These terms apply when you use Jyotishala, published by Avadhesh Mishra. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

What the app is

Jyotishala calculates Vedic charts, Panchang and matching from astronomical data, and offers readings written in the tradition of Jyotish, palmistry and numerology. Readings are for guidance, reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice and do not predict events with certainty. Please consult a qualified professional for such decisions.

Accounts

You must be 18 or older. Keep your sign-in details private. You may delete your account at any time in the app.

Credits

Credits are a prepaid balance used inside the app (1 credit = ₹1 of value, prices include GST). They have no cash value, cannot be transferred and do not expire while your account is active. If a reading fails, its credits are returned automatically. Purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by law or by the store's refund policy (Apple and Google handle refunds for purchases made through them).

Jyotishala Plus

Plus is offered as monthly, 3-month and yearly plans. Through the App Store and Google Play, Plus is an auto-renewing subscription: payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase, and it renews automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Plans bought with Cashfree are one-time passes and do not renew.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other people's data, or use readings to harass or mislead others.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on readings.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
